Back to school

Well all the fun and furry of summer camping, trips, activities, bbq's and leisure time is at its end. School, work, schedules and various other demands are once again pressing on the days. Interesting, during summer there seems to be no schedule, and yet I find myself nearly as busy as the rest of the year. Well, back to work and service and various other projects. I'm looking forward to the bible studies again, This next set of weeks we will be looking at the Life of Christ. For those of you who are curious about it check out the link here for upcoming events. there are two different times, days and locations.
I'm thrilled as we will be looking to see who Jesus is! How the different gospels declare his majesty, his glory, his work of redemption - we will look to see the world into which he stepped, culturally, the prophecies that declared his coming, His dual nature - fully God, fully Man, His teachings, His claims, His radical actions, such as who he offended and who he embraced. We will listen to his parables, see his interactions, recognizing the heart of mercy perfectly balanced with judgment. We will learn of His power and authority over Nature, Diseases, Demons and ultimately the law of sin and its consequence, Death.
It promises to be a wonderful study, because of who its focus is.
