Community in Christ

Retreat after Retreat I am completely amazed at how God has the ability to knit hearts together that commit themselves to Him...
True Christian community is incredibly exciting....When the foundation of a relationship is based on Christ first and foremost, it has the potential to thrive and grow incredibly strong. When it is based on the hope of finding friends it will be disappointing...Why?
Because it is God who gives us True friends, we have a horrible way as humans at trying to manufacture friends...in doing so we either seek to dominate or please the face of man to win them to our side as friends...That's so sad....BUT when our focus is on CHrist and grwoing in Him at any cost even the cost of friends, He gives us those that HE has ordained to help stand along side of us and secure us when things are tough!
It is completely incredible to see women that come together for the purpose of seeking Christs will in their lives and their humble obedience to submit to what ever HE desires for them, regardless of what even other christians may think! WHAT a Beautiful sight!
I am humbled and awestruck by God's beauty as seen in so many genuine women this weekend....It amazes me that when the conversations get past the 'who are you, what do you do, what's your life like...' when we start to share about CHRIST and what he has done in our lives, accomplished in our lives, set us free from and delivered and healed, we can't help but not only fall more in love with HIM, but love eachother all the deeper.
Deeper than the physical, deeper than the soul and natural aspects of life, into the deepest part of who we are, to love eachother in the SPIRIT OF CHRIST! pure glory!
